Data Entry/Accounting Specialist

We are a major manufacturer in the western suburbs, and we have a position on our accounting team for an accounting specialist/data entry specialist. An individual with accounting experience is preferred, but we would look at someone with high organizational, communication, and document management skills. Responsibilities:
Keying in of AP invoices

• Purchase Orders are generated via manufacturing system
• Purchase orders are uploaded to Oracle, their ERP system
• One an invoice is received, it needs to be verified and then keyed in, otherwise it will be pushed to management

Volume - this position will see roughly 2k invoices/month, so the individual will need to work quickly, and efficiently. Position is 100% in office, hours are flexible, 7a-5p are the core business hours, but we would consider someone who wanted 4 10's. Compensation will vary from $20 - $24 per hour based on experience.
