ETL Developer

Job Summary

The ETL Developer will execute and provide insights into the design, implementation and maintenance of the data warehouse and all related extraction, transformation, and load data functions. This role establishes operational processes that maintain the standards and procedures for platform validation and data integrity through the data lifecycle. The ETL Developer collaborates with stakeholders to collect data requirements, then designs and builds data models for data use in reporting and analytics. This role engages with IT and Security to perform technology upgrades, set up file transfers, perform code management, and job scheduling.

Essential Functions

• Analyzes the business requirements for data file requests to design, develop, and deploy fully automated ETL jobs to produce data files.
• Designs, develops, and deploys ETL programs to facilitate the receipt of data from various data sources and the loading of data into destination tables within the overall data architecture framework.
• Creates end-to-end solutioning for file creation and distribution and supports ETL production processes and operations.
• Partners with various customers and stakeholders to understand and translate business use cases and requirements into data models, data integration routines, and analytics reports.
• Utilizes advanced understanding of healthcare data models to identify data sources and mapping data for required file specifications.
• Designs and automates data quality and data validation functions as part of the overall solution.
• Expands the use of data to support the company’s strategic goals and objectives.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's

Preferred: Bachelor's

Field(s) of Study: Computer Science, Technology, or Engineering or related field

Experience Requirements

Required: Minimum of 3 Years

Preferred: Minimum of 4 Years

Experience Details: Minimum of 3 years of experience with computer programming language(s) coding and building deployment software required. Experience with ASP.NET, SSIS, SSRS, C#, .NET Framework required. Experience with managed file transfer and job schedule preferred.  Knowledge of modern software design principles, concepts, and practices preferred.

Equivalent combination of education, experience or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted, unless regulated by contract or program standards
