Our client is looking for a Vice President of Finance due to growth at a very unique organization.

The Vice President of Finance will report to the CFO and be responsible the leadership of the finance group and the following:
1. Provides guidance on strategic initiative financing options to support the organization's growth needs.
2. Collaborates with the CFO in financial planning and investments to help identify and evaluate potential mergers and acquisitions.
3. Serves on behalf of the CFO as a liaison with operating units.
4. Designs metrics to monitor and forecast strategic investments, acquisitions, asset management, risk management and business development.
5. Oversees the capital expenditure process and payback models.
6. Advises executive leadership on potential liabilities and risk management issues.
7. Works with the Director of Finance in the organization's financial approach and strategies.
8. Supervises the Director of Finance in the completion of annual audits, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
9. Prepares forecasting and other reports, as directed. 10. Maintains and ensures compliance with all legal requirements.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelors and/or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated successful experience in a dynamic, fast-paced private equity or venture capital environment.
3. Strong background in mergers & acquisitions.
4. CPA preferred. 5. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively work independently in a team environment.
6. Proven analytical skills and budgetary acumen.
7. Excellent verbal, presentation and written skills, including documentation and reporting.
8. Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite programs, internet, mobile technology and other office equipment.
9. Experience in consolidation, forecasting and budgeting tools.
