Day to day subbing (on-call) for the following categories:Substitute Secretary Substitute Special Ed Para Substitute Health Para (Nurses may work as Sub Health Paras) Substitute Elementary and Secondary Para Substitute ESL Para Substitute ECFE/Preschool Assistants Substitute Preschool Instructor Substitute School Monitor Minimum Qualifications: Must physically work in-person at the school/site. Substitute Secretary - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Substitute Special Ed Para - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Substitute Health Para - Requires LPN License. Must have completed or be currently enrolled in the Adult, Child and Infant CPR and AED (Automatic External Defibrillators) course, First Aid course. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Substitute Elementary Para - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Substitute Secondary Para - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Substitute ESL Para - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Substitute ECFE/Preschool Assistant - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Substitute Preschool Instructor - Requires BA degree in Early Childhood or closely related field. Teaching license in Early Childhood, Kindergarten or Elementary Ed preferred. Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds. Substitute School Monitor - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Rate of Pay: Substitute Secretary $13.75 / hour; Experience: $14.25 / hour * Substitute Special Ed Para $14.75 / hour; Experience: $15.25 / hour * Substitute Health Para $18.75 / hour; Experience: $19.25 / hour * Substitute Elementary and Secondary Para $14.00 / hour; Experience: $14.50 / hour * Substitute ESL Para $14.00 / hour; Experience: $14.50 / hour * Substitute ECFE/Preschool Assistant $14.14 / hour Substitute Preschool Instructor $19.05 / hour Substitute School Monitor $14.00 / hour; Experience: $14.50 / hour * * Experienced Subs are Anoka-Hennepin retirees; current Anoka-Hennepin employees on non-medical unpaid leaves; effective at the beginning of each school year only, for those who subbed 67 days or more during the previous school year; current part-time Anoka-Hennepin secretaries or paras who sub during non-duty time in different building.
