The Employer Installations Representative performs employer benefit plan design coding to assigned accounts, including, but not limited to: structure building and revisions, and researching and resolving structure issues.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Our offices are located in Minnetonka, MN and Duluth, MN. You may work onsite OR if you are within 50 miles of any UHG office, you may enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve work electronically via a queue-based workforce inventory tracking tool
  • Review and validate required group and member documents
  • Analyze transactional data and use supporting documents to ensure the group and member is installed in our system correctly
  • Utilized macros to enter data and validate information
  • Email correspondence to agents and brokers
  • Adhere to departmental guidelines and processes put in place for these tasks
  • Become familiar with current policies and procedures and other reference material
  • Provide feedback and explanation in a positive and professional manner
  • Work in a team environment while demonstrating individual accountability
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma / GED (or higher)
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word (creating, editing, saving documents) and Microsoft Excel (creating, editing, saving spreadsheets)
  • Experience working with a PC and windows applications, with the ability to learn new and complex systems
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

  • Previous data entry experience

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Reside within 50 miles of any UHG office
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $15.00 to $25.19.
