ResponsibilitiesParticipate in final contract negotiations to assure that scope of supply, cost constraints, guarantees and schedules are clearly defined before project is made a "GO"Develop and manage project plan (schedule/tasks) while coordinating the work under MBW Site Management supervision and our sub-supplier resources to ensure the project is completed per contracted schedule, while optimizing profit and delivering the project to contract specificationsMeet project objectives, recognizing customer's needs and seek to satisfy the customer within the scope of contractIdentify and resolve problems as early as possible to minimize adverse project impactsUnderstand fully the key technical and commercial aspects of the project (i.e. contract agreement, scope of work, work processes, schedule, budget and PM means & methods) necessary to plan and execute the project effectivelyCollaborate with MBW Site Management and oversee the overall project effortPrepare site progress reports (financial, progress, quality, changes etc.) to assure supervisor manager and senior mgmt. is informed of overall status of project on regular basisFacilitate project close-out negotiations to ensure all obligations are met and agreed toMeet with client regularly and provide necessary communication to attain the above responsibilities by holding project meetings, resolving issues thru collaboration with customers, sub-suppliers, site management and interface with customer to keep them informed of progress or problems as required to attain objectivesAdheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the companyUtilize MBW provided tools and methods to complete documentation throughout project life cyclePromotes and reinforces safety work practices in accordance with MBW or customer policies and governing regulations and standards at the work siteEducation And ExperienceEngineering or construction management degree from a 4-year accredited educational institution or equivalent industry experienceExperience as Project Manager with broad experience in managing the works performing constructing, modifying or erecting civil, mechanical or steel structures in an industrial settingDemonstrated success in project execution using project management controls (computerized/manual), scheduling and planning systemsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities And Other CharacteristicsAble to effectively communicate in written and verbal formats and across a wide range of internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate with colleagues in a manner that fosters knowledge growth and teamworkPossess desirable and respectful personal character, commitment, professionalism, organizational skills, work habits and teaching skillsBuild partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives, establish credibility and influence othersCapable of planning logically, setting realistic goals, and controlling complex operations and tasksPossess exceptional organizational skills including a keen attention to detail and capable of handling multiple tasks effectively while working under concise project schedulesIndependent work practices but with temperament to reach out for support when necessaryHighly developed problem solving, analytical and decision-making skillsDemonstrates a positive attitude, integrity and social/cultural awareness and sensitivityKnowledge of general safe work practicesEfficient use of Microsoft office products and computer-based maintenance systemsManage change, embraces new ideas, team player, disagrees constructivelyBenefitsHere are just a few of the benefits you will experience as a part of MBW:Competitive WagesMedical InsuranceVision InsuranceDental Insurance401k with a Company MatchOn-The-Job TrainingDiscounted Gym MembershipVacation and Sick PayPaid HolidaysCompany Paid Travel and Per-diemsPerformance Bonuses (Many Positions)Growth OpportunitiesIf you meet the qualifications, please apply online.
