Position Summary:The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for companywide accounts payable including credit card statements, employee expense reports and weekly check runs. This role is also responsible for general financial record keeping, and supporting month end close.Pay: $19.25 - $24.00 per hour plus benefits including Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, health, dental, long term disability, short term disability & life insurance.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for companywide accounts payable.Manage accounts payable email inbox ensuring all invoices are processed and vendor inquiries are responded to promptly.Manage workflow of payables processing including obtaining appropriate approvals, required purchase order documentation and project assignment.Enter all payables into accounting system ensuring complete accuracy; all are to be coded with appropriate G/L account, division and project.Prepare weekly check run with supporting documentation.Reconcile monthly credit card statements with supporting documentation and receipts.Responsible for ensuring all outgoing payments comply with company policy.Review vendor invoices for compliance with company DOA.Review corporate credit card expenses for compliance with both company DOA and company travel policy.Review employee expense reports for compliance with company travel policyMaintain Vendor records including W-9's, contracts, agreements, and other.Maintain payment records including all filing and storage needs.Supports monthly, quarterly and year-end Financial closings and reportsAssists Purchasing team as needed Supports and cross-trains other Finance positions.Other duties as requested by the Financial ControllerQualifications:Associates degree in Accounting2+ years of direct experience in Accounts PayableFamiliar in QuickBooks Pro Software and standard bookkeeping practicesFamiliar with accounting processes in a manufacturing operationProficient use of MS Office Pro applications: Excel, Word, OutlookStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to process and monitor business activities through transaction life cycleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a team environment at a high technology manufacturing companyAbility to represent LasX in a professional mannerPhysical Requirements:Extensive time spent at a computer workstation, using a phone or indirect communications
