Industrial Ventilation Project Manager

An industrial ventilation project manager at Horwitz is responsible for procuring clientele, designing, estimating, and managing projects from start to finish. This includes day-to-day operations that impact our company profitability and reputation. Industrial ventilation within our organization relates to large projects in production settings, examples include dust collection, fume collection, pneumatic conveying, exhaust systems, thermal oxidizers, scrubbers, and pollution control systems.

Position Responsibilities:

• Sell, estimate, and manage industrial projects.
• Project management including preparing budgets, purchasing equipment and major material, supervision and coordination of subcontractors and field labor.

Required Qualifications:

• Fluent in Microsoft office products.
• A minimum of five years' experience in one or more of the following fields: dust collection, fume collections or pneumatic conveying.
• The ability to demonstrate knowledge of pressure and velocity calculations as they relate to air movement and transport velocities.
• The ability to extract knowledge from NFPA guidelines as they relate to the client's specific needs.
• The ability to demonstrate combustible dust awareness and safety best practices.
• The ability to demonstrate previous work in productions settings associated with combustible dust, explosive fumes, and pollution.
• The ability to travel 30% of the time within the five state area.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with
  • large insurance providers
  • Industrial Hygienists
  • AHJ's
  • Sheet metal fabrication and layout knowledge
