Food Service Worker

We are seeking applications for the position of Food Service Worker.

This is a 9 month, 100% time position located in Dining Services on the Morris Campus.

This position has the responsibility for quality food production, cleanliness and customer service to meet the needs of a diverse population of University of Minnesota Morris students, faculty, staff, visitors, and friends in Dining Services or Turtle Mountain Cafe.

Essential knowledge. skills and abilities

Must have at least six (6) months experience in a large food operation or quantity food production
Must be able to read, write and interpret the English language
Must be able to perform simple math calculations
Must be able to move up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
Must be able to stand for up to four hours at a time.
Preferred knowledge. skills and abilities

Demonstrated knowledge of HACCP procedures, and health department regulations
Sodexo Food and Physical Safety regulations
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with people of diverse backgrounds
