Temporary Accounting Clerk (Part Time)

Job Description
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform primary accounting functions as follows:
o Extract and transform supplier master data from QAD.
o Populate required templates from internal Data Management Organization.
o Vendor outreach for information gathering, to include ACH banking, W-9, and SBA forms.
o Work with Shared Service Center in Ireland.
Assist with accounts payable duties, to include:
o Vouchering supplier invoices.
o Verifying the price being paid on the invoice is consistent with the purchase order.
o Ensuring price discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices are resolved.
o Verifying appropriate sign-off limits per corporate policy.
o Verifying quantities received match quantities invoiced.
o Completing weekly supplier check payment processes.
Ensure all internal controls are in place and being followed.
Communicate with operations and finance personnel to gather and analyze data to resolve issues.
Other tasks and projects as required.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma required, Post-Secondary degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
1 to 4 years of accounts payable experience preferred.
Strong Excel skills required.
Experience with QAD preferred.

Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks and shifting priorities under tight deadlines.
This job requires you to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms about 1/3 of the time.
This job requires you to talk or hear about 2/3 of the time and that you sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel over 2/3 of the time.
This job requires that up to 10 pounds be lifted or force to be exerted about 1/3 of the time.
This job requires that you meet the following vision requirements: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
