Job Description

Responsible for management of agriculture farmland within the U.S. Bank Specialty Asset Group. Assets under management will include trust and agency relationships. Qualified individual will provide expert advice and counsel with respect to agriculture properties. This will include crop enterprise analysis, lease analysis/negotiations. Individual will be required to retain, develop and grow the farm assets under management. Successful Asset Manager must have the ability to market farm management services. Agriculture background is essential along with a desire to continue education to include trust and estate planning practices.

Basic Qualifications

* Five to eight years of experience with three or more years in farm management or professional agriculture related business

Preferred Skills/Experience

* Strong new business marketing skills

* Ability to construct and analyze crop enterprise budgets, working knowledge of legal documentation, manage complex real estate issues.

* Outgoing personality with a willingness to continue education and grow management responsibilities

* Ability to work independently within a national team of related professionals

* Advanced knowledge of farm real estate portfolio management and asset risk analysis

* Proven new business development skills

* Prolific analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to identify and resolve day to day management issues

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

* Strong ability to negotiate

* Well-developed client relationship management skills
