Job Title

VP of Project Management - MAC

Job Summary

As a member of senior management, the Vice President (VP) of Project Management - Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) leads, directs and manages MAC operations. This position develops all budgets, relationships, strategies, quality and expansion opportunities in association with MAC statement of work and organizational goals

Key Performance Indicators

* Administers MAC contract requirements and monitors contract performance for effective delivery of goods and services
* Manages program and contract relationships
* Develops and monitors contract budgets to ensure successful performance and organization goals

Essential Functions

Key Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

* Plans, directs, and executes the various program functions associated with MAC Statement of Work (SOW) within corporate and government budgets. Typically, with revenue greater that $50 Million
* Negotiates and administers contract terms with government entities to be most beneficial to the organization and meet overall strategy
* Maintains and manages complex network of relationships with federal government personnel both in program and acquisition offices
* Builds positive relationships with state associates and organizations, vendors and other contractors
* Serves as a key liaison for escalated congressional inquires and operational issues as they arise
* Directs operational activities and proposal activities in support of contracts ensuring compliance with contract requirements, state and federal laws, and organizational rules and policies
* Provides accurate and informational reports to federal government, board of directors, and executive leadership
* Justifies all government contract reports including both operational and financial
* Improves organizational performance through ongoing coaching of employees as well as initiating innovative alternatives for process improvements
* Maintains strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategies into actionable strategies
* Plans and develops contract and corporate budgets to ensure adequate funds to support contract performance and overall company financial health
* Supports the development of annual department and corporate planning process by coordinating and communicating an understanding of external healthcare market, recognizing trends, problems, opportunities, and upcoming changes with federal government
* Provides leadership, development, and operational management for the organization
* Plans and executes organization strategy, coordinates resources, and develops and evaluates work of assigned staff

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree OR equivalent work experience
* 14 years progressively increasing responsibility in health insurance and operations
* 3 years experience in a leadership role for managing complex systems and work flows
* SOW Key Personnel requirements
* Highly skilled and motivated individual with the ability to lead projects and produce results
* Strong interpersonal, communication skills, and the ability to build relationships
* Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Above requirements and the following:

* Master's degree in Business, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare, Economics, or closely related field
* PMP Certification

* Office Environment
* Ability to read, hear, speak, keyboard, reason, communicate effectively and problem solve
* Requires prolonged sitting and telephone use
* Requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, telephones, copiers and printers
* Infrequent lifting to 15 pounds
* Infrequent stooping
* Periodic overnight travel up to 25%

working/residing in the state of Colorado.

Colorado Salary Range: $116,928.32 - $192,027.50

Other Compensation: Mobile Device Reimbursement: $65/month, Self-Managed PTO, EIP Tier I
