RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Effectively maintain and troubleshoot new and existing plant equipment while working with pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, and other electrical components. Read and interpret equipment prints/schematics.
Set up, maintain and repair equipment to ensure safe operation
Specify repair parts and replace as needed.
Help maintain spare parts inventory.
Set-up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools and operate welding equipment to make and repair parts, tooling and equipment.
Work with manufacturing engineers in the development and construction of new jigs, fixtures, or automation equipment to increase throughput and reduce operating expenses through inventory or waste reduction.
Perform equipment preventative and predicative maintenance on a scheduled basis
Implement facilities improvement projects as assigned, and helps to coordinate internal resources with outside vendors when appropriate.
Support allISO and Lean efforts in the plant.
Maintain OSHA safety procedures at all times.
Document, as required, procedures and instructions, in compliance with TS requirements.
Use maintenance support systems plan, track, and evaluate work.
Perform plumbing, HVAC and carpentry work as needed.
All other activities, which help to support the building, facilities, design, quality, and manufacturing operations of PTI. QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED:

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving objects
Must have the ability to work from elevated locations, climb ladders, and lifting unassisted. DESIRED:

Working knowledge of maintenance tracking systems and/or use of ERP systems.
Experience: Energetic, self-disciplined individual with excellent hands on experience in a high to medium volume production facility who can work with minimum supervision. Willingness to work as a member of a team and a strong desire to meet and consistently exceed set forth expectations. Experience
