MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from an accredited collegeFive years of related work experience. Minimum three years credit department experienceProven skills to effectively manage and have overall responsibility for the performance of multiple credit services functionsProven coaching ability to manage and lead others to achieve desired resultsExcellent interpersonal communications skillsProven skills to effectively speak before management, employee and customer groupsProven ability to read and interpret a variety of documents and reports, including statistical informationProven ability to perform complex mathematical calculations, including computation of ratios, percentages and paymentsPRIMARY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Daily responsibility of commercial credit departmentScheduling of annual reviews for existing credit relationshipsAssigns new loan requests to Credit Analysts for review and preparation of the loan approval documentReviews all loan approval documents prepared by Credit Analysts that exceed individual authorized limitsPerforms analysis and completes loan approval documents on larger credit relationships.Recommends Credit Analyst's authorized limits to SVP/Credit AdministrationAttends commercial banking team meetings to review work load, discuss in-process requests and upcoming maturitiesProvides leadership and coaching to staff to ensure maximum effectiveness, as well as continual learning and professional developmentManages direct reports and provides weekly, monthly and quarterly feedback on performance planning goalsMonitors new developments in Credit Services delivery methodsEnsures that all staff members are well informed, understand the concepts and are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for high performanceProvides timely reports to Executive Management
