Substitute Preschool Teacher (Head Start) Racine WI

Employment Duration: Part time Program: Acelero Learning Wisconsin .responsive { max-width: 100%; height: auto; }

This position serves as a Substitute Teacher for our Head Start Learning centers.

The Substitute Teacher will work collaboratively with the Teacher to ensure the successful operation of 0-3 or 3-5-year-old children. Substitute Teachers work closely with other teachers, staff, and families to implement curriculum to achieve strong outcomes for children of all abilities.

The Substitute Teacher will ultimately be evaluated on a combination of skills, dispositions, and behaviors, some of which are related to the specific service area of this position and others that represent general expectations of all Acelero Learning employees.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, required
• Certified Development Associate credential, (CDA)
  • OR degree in early childhood education or related
  • OR willingness to complete Early Education course within first 7 weeks from the start date
• Pass all pre-hire background screens
• Able to lift a child weighing 40 lbs or more as needed
