Success in this role will be dependent on an ability to successfully navigate and influence change across a matrix environment, quickly adapt to changing priorities, and identify key - in the context of a fast paced and high-growth environment that has a long-term commitment to making health care better for everyone. Primary Responsibilities: Interface with OI business operations and finance leaders and build relationships in support of automating key expense metrics and real-time forecast Understand OI business drivers and metrics to assist in identification of operating expense trends and areas of cost savings / management Development and automate reporting to drive transparency and insight into operating expense results and plan Support Provider Market, having knowledge of the business and being point of contact to drive actions with other cross-functional teams to achieve Target results Identifying and driving process improvements that simplify work, reduce internal cost, and improve the customer experience Collaborate with cross-functional teams in conjunction with budgeting and forecasting process including broader OptumInsight finance and accounting Leverage technology and carry out process improvement activities, allocations, variable and fixed expenses You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent 3+ years of relevant financial analysis and strong analytic experience Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Office product suite, and other technology tools Ability to work in a matrix environment while positively influencing other functional areas Preferred Qualifications: Project management or process improvement experience Hyperion SmartView and PeopleSoft experience Excellent written and oral communication skills; Solid executive presence Careers with Optum.
