Duties and Responsibilities

The Labview Developer / Systems Engineer responsibility will be programming and building test equipment to support all of Trek's global test labs. You will be working within our Engineering Test Lab on test protocols for Trek and Bontrager products.

We need someone who can:

• Define, build , and maintain control systems for test applications
• Produce maintainable, well-documented, and readable code
• Maintain and enhance existing code
• Troubleshooting test system software, instrumentation, and interfaces across a network of test labs
• Ensure accurate data is collected and stored
• Review and recommend sensors and actuators to fulfill measurement/control project requirements
• Specify and order hardware and controls
• Maintain and update timelines for all current projects
• Generate and maintain equipment documentation and manuals
• Travel to Asia labs for equipment installations, maintenance, and review/re-training of technicians

Skills and Abilities

• Experience developing data acquisition systems and control system software with L abVIEW
• Familiarity with test standards and procedures
• CAD Experience
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers
• Electrical circuit knowledge
• Ability to make a wiring diagram
• Familiar with windows and MS Office Tools
• Familiar with Trek products
• Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
• Able to interact positively with all internal and external customers
• Pays great attention to details
• Able to lift up to 50lbs infrequently for the ability to build and maintain machines
