Process Engineer, QualityWork Mode: OnsiteLocation:Kohler, WIOpportunityThe Engineer - Quality role will provide technical and engineering support to the business, specifically the WFO faucet assembly area, to ensure products meet specification. The person in this role will ensure smooth operation by participating in and driving continuous improvement efforts through defect elimination, structured problem solving with root cause analysis and monitoring corrective actions for effectiveness. The candidate will also be able to accept, embrace, and drive change to improve overall quality systems resulting in improved production performance and customer experience.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESIdentify, communicate, and drive resolution on day-to-day quality issues.Make decisions related to product quality, serving as the voice of the customer. Work cross-functionally to coordinate containment activities and make disposition on suspect material as not to affect the assembly line and customer.Participate in PFMEA's, Control plan development, Gauge R & R studies during new product introductions.Validate product documentation accuracy when reviewing and approving PPAPs.Participate in initiatives that drive KQMS and ISO compliance.Strive to improve existing manufacturing and support systems to facilitate increased performance in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.Skills/Requirements A Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or scientific discipline from an ABET Certified university preferred.1+ year of Quality or Process engineering experience within a production environment.
