About the Role: Proposal Manager

Brief Description: The Proposal Manager will assist the Business Development team by preparing research services proposals and budgets for HealthiVibe projects.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Work within the Business Development team and with cross-functional colleagues in Operations, IT, Research, et al to create proposals for data and research services on high complexity projects for biopharmaceutical, medical device, and other life science customers.
  • Lead the entire proposal development process, from receipt of a proposal request through signature of an SOW.
  • Create comprehensive budgets for proposals using internal templates, rate cards, quotes from vetted external vendors/consultants, and critical thinking. Lead the scoping and budgeting of complex Change Orders for existing projects on an as-needed basis.
  • Lead responses on customer RFIs and RFPs on an as-needed basis, working cross-functionally as necessary to achieve on-time submissions.
  • Partner with the legal department on customer NDAs, MSAs, and other contractual documents.
  • Ensure adherence to Contract Management policies and processes
  • Ongoing interface with internal teams and vendor relationships regarding contractual issues during the lifetime of a project.
  • Maintain an electronic library of agreements/contracts previously negotiated, existing, and in-progress.

Computer Skills:

  • Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 3 years' experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years of contract and proposal writing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience that gives the individual the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the job.
