Position Summary: This individual would be responsible for ensuring climatic, vibration and shock tests are conducted and documented properly and to assist and guide a team of technicians in such work. This role is to support product development, formal qualification and failure investigations, while also being involved in the development of new techniques to improve device and testing effectiveness and reliability. Responsibilities:
Ensure climatic/vibration tests are executed to customer specifications.
Maintain test data integrity, evaluate results and prepare and review test reports to meet customer requirements, providing interim data and completed reports in a timely manner.
Define, lead and run tests using vibration, shock and climatic test facilities.
Provide direction for technicians as needed.
Develop lab capability to support new technologies and methods.
Support the development of local work instructions.
Lead / Contribute towards continuous improvement activities.
Provide scheduling assistance for equipment and personnel.

Basic Qualifications:
This position emphasizes skills and experience. 9 years of experience, or 5 years of experience with a Bachelor degree and 3 years of experience with a Masters. Practical person with proven analytical and problem solving skills.
5 to 9 years of experience with Environmental testing.
Mechanical and Thermal Engineering experience
Demonstrated understanding for the safe and correct way to stimulate test assets with vibration, shock, climatic and temperature profiles.
Experience with mechanical (vibration and shock) and climatic testing, including derivation of control strategies, function of climatic chambers and equipment, vibration test controllers and data acquisition systems.
Effective at working in teams with strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a US Citizen and able to acquire a DoD security clearance.
