Based in Cherry Hill, NJ we are a leading full service direct lender with nearly 20 years in business across 36 states. Due to growth and demand and our services, we are in need of hiring for a Sr. Loan Processor that possesses strong experience with conventional and government loans and Encompass experience.

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage a pipeline of 25+ loans
• Ability to structure deals and work with loan originators
• Process both Purchase and Refinance Transactions.
• Review rate lock expiration dates, closing dates, first and last submission to underwriting while meeting with the Branch Manager twice a week to review loan status for all loans .
• Process conventional, Bond, FHA, VA, USDA and 203K loans- high volume of FHA loans.
• Communicate to borrowers verbally via phone and electronically via email and Point Of Sale: conditions, changes to loan terms, approval and the process that will take them through closing
• Coordinate and communicate with external parties to include but not limited to: real estate agents, title companies, appraisal AMCs, builders, credit reporting agencies, insurance providers
• Run automated underwriting and submit a quality and complete package to underwriting
• Review all income documentation, including W2s, paystubs, personal tax returns and other documentation as applicable
• Review all asset documentation, bank statements, investment accounts and retirement statements as applicable
• Review property tax searches for accurate details and input correct amounts for property tax and insurance escrow impounds and applicable aggregate adjustments
• Run compliance audit checks, order VODs, VOEs, VOMs, VORs, 4506T-IRS transcripts, credit supplements, verify accuracy of the 1003
• Schedules loans for closing, order payoffs, review final numbers
• Ensure the customer experience is high and meets or exceeds client expectations.
• Responsible for meeting set Service Level Agreement timeframes.
• Anticipate issues and/or problems that could impact the business and partner with management to provide valid solutions using a pro-active approach
• Responsible for the execution of the companys compliance program and ensuring investor and credit guidelines/policies are met within processing effort
• Managing pipeline and movement of loans
• Outside the box mindset with the ability to bring both positive and negative criticism to the table and offer solutions or ideas to improve the process.
  

What You Need for this Position

• Consumer Direct processing experience is a plus
• Minimum two years mortgage processing experience
• Displays excellent customer service and relationship building skills
• Highly organized, detail oriented and proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to adapt to cyclical peaks during the month where volume increases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient math skills
• Ability to adapt and overcome objectives within the lending environment
• Technology savvy with experience in Encompass.
