Overview

The Robotics engineer will be responsible for the programming and setup of robots used in automated systems.



Responsibilities

  • Work with the sales team to evaluate robotic application feasibility.
  • Develop offline robot programs using Fanuc Robo-Guide and Octopuz software's
  • Initialize and install software on Fanuc robots
  • Setup robot frames
  • Verify path programming, I/O, and logic
  • Troubleshoot and repair problems found during testing
  • Participate in project reviews to help ensure projects are completed on time and budget consistent with customers' expectations.
  • Operate in a team environment to help meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience of Robotics programming experience in a custom automation environment
  • Able to translate automation conceptual designs into functional equipment
  • Able to think analytically and creatively while keeping safety and cost in mind
  • Able to operate on own initiative with minimal supervision, but also contribute as a team member working within the Electrical Engineering team and other cross functional teams
  • Able to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machine schematics
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office products
