Press Support

We have openings for first and second shift (7-3:30pm and 3-11:30pm, respectively) on our Pressroom Production team. This is a full-time position scheduled to work Monday - Friday.

The Team Forum Communications Printing-Detroit Lakes is part of the commercial print division of Forum Communications Company. Our specific location specializes in printing newspapers, magazines, periodicals and tabloids. Weare located inDetroit Lakes, MN. As our name implies, this is lake country. We have more than 400 lakes within 25 miles of Detroit Lakes in northwest Minnesota. As a Press Support, you will perform duties related to receiving, stacking and transferring printed product off press equipment. Other responsibilities include:

• Prepare and load paper rolls for press machines.
• Stackdown/palletize products as they are run off the press.
• Clean and maintain printingpress
• Setup stacker equipment.
• Operate forklift and palletjacks.
• Responsiblefor general maintenance and housekeeping of press and reelrooms.
• Abideby all OSHA regulations and other established company safetypolicies.

Requirements:

• Three to six months mechanical experience and/or training
• Mustbe 18 years of age orolder.
• Mechanicallyinclined.
• Mustbe able to work weekends, evenings, andholidays.
• Occasionallyrequired to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
