Join the growing team at Doosan Bobcat! The Total Rewards Specialist is responsible for HR retirement support, administration of current and future retiree benefit programs across all U.S locations and employee populations, assisting with defined contribution and non-qualified retirement plan tasks., ensuring accurate and timely payment, processing and tracking of vendor invoices. This important role in our organization has a strong customer-service focus and requires great attention to detail.  The responsibilities of the Total Rewards Specialist are primarily spent supporting pension plans (50%), processing invoices (25%) and supporting defined contribution plans and other support (25%).

 

Role & Responsibility

  • Support the administration for retiree insurance and defined benefit plans across multiple eligibility groups
  • Develop an understanding of all defined benefit/pension plans
  • Manage the internal call center for intake of all retiree calls.  
  • Provide quality and timely customer service for all retiree phone calls and letters
  • Interpret policies and procedures when questions arise 
  • Ensure all processes are compliant with plan documents, internal controls, and regulatory agency requirements
  • Develop and maintain process guides and documentation
  • Mail, receive, and review applications for retirement
  • Initiate retiree insurance enrollments within our benefit vendor’s system
  • Meet with participants to discuss retirement benefit options and processes
  • Maintain and update retiree payroll information including benefit changes; resolve discrepancies 
  • Provide pension benefit verifications as requested
  • Process pension calculations according to applicable plan guidelines for active and term-vested employees in five different union and non-union plans
  • Handle the 1095-C tax form process from start to finish
  • Manage the retiree death process by updating retiree master data and processing all life insurance claims
  • Process vendor billing invoices for payment
  • Act as backup for various defined contribution tasks

 

Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent degree
  • Travel Required:
  • Experience Required: 1 to 3 years 
  • Experience updating master data records in an HR Information System and/or ADP/SAP payroll system preferred
  • Working knowledge of human resources, employee benefits and/or payroll and benefit systems (SAP and Businessolver) preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to use sound judgment
  • Able to work independently
  • Commitment to customer service and education
  • Experience with MS Office; specifically, Excel

What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have?

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
