Client Details

Our client is an established, reputable General Contractor founded in 2010. With two offices in Milwaukee, WI and Wausau, WI they have about 50 employees and are looking to expand the team due to pipeline growth. Their projects are primarily large Multi-family, Historical Reno/Adaptive Re Use, Commercial and University apartments - but they are interested in getting some Healthcare projects in the pipeline as well. Our client has excellent culture overall and prides themselves on having a very personable team with little to no turnover.

Description

  • Manage submissions and inspections required by governing agencies.
  • Hold and document weekly project site meetings.
  • Coordinate scope of work for all trades.
  • Are held accountable for all owner contracts, subcontracts, PO's, associated change orders and more.
  • Create/maintain all project schedules.
  • Ensure all industry standards are met on the sites.
  • Monitor the performance of superintendents on site.
  • Establish/maintain positive relationships with owners, owners representatives, architects, designers, property managers, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Manage/execute all construction projects.
  • Keep clear communication and delegation between everyone on the project management team.
  • Mentor, coach and train all Assistant Project Managers on the site.
  • Attend all pre-bid/site review meetings.
  • Handle the financial management of all phases of the projects.
  • Estimate construction budgets and prepare/review bid packages.
  • Lead/manage meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Profile

  • 10+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or something similar.
  • Has experience managing/overseeing multiple projects at one time.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to review and understand all construction documentation and drawings.
  • Working knowledge of relevant commercial construction technology.
  • Experience running projects from start to end.
  • Knowledge of skilled trades (including carpentry, concrete work, masonry, site excavation, plumbing, grading, fire protection, HVAC and electrical).
  • Multifamily, Light Industrial, or Education/Municipal experience.
  • Currently a Senior Project Manager or Project Executive.
  • Estimating experience.
  • Experience with large projects (up to $50M).
  • CPM scheduling and planning.
  • True leadership experience.
