Mechanical Design Engineer

We are currently working with a client to find a Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for designing and detailing industrial air pollution control systems according to specifications and within the designated time frames assigned.

Pay: $38-$48/hr

Job Responsibilities:

Solid modeling and design, using SolidWorks, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD)
Production of complete solid model designs, and drawings that meet documented hardware requirements
Complete changes to drawings, documentation, and work instructions through ECOs process
Performance of product/process analyses for cost reduction, and quality and efficiency improvements.
The design, manufacture and testing of special tools, fixtures, etc. for use in various stages of the production process

Required:

AutoCAD proficiency
Solidworks proficiency
5-10 years' experience in capital equipment design, preferably for industrial HVAC/air pollution control equipment
Knowledge of piping, combustion systems, refractory, thermal insulation and air pollution control systems is a plus.
