Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Claims & Med Mgt and EMR/PM Teams within Optum Care Technology - from technical to executive level - to oversee business operations as well as execute against operational projects
  • Business operations functions include resource oversight, requisition governance, and financial oversight - including internal costs and broader Optum Care costs
  • Operational projects include supporting the Optum Care cost management agenda, mature the product and service offerings within the Claims & Med Mgt and EMR/PM portfolio, and oversee development and execution of the pricing structure
  • Own and facilitate project statuses and ongoing project meetings, including setting agenda, driving direction and decisions, documenting meeting notes, action items, owners and dates
  • Develop and deliver executive status reports, project schedules and presentations for visibility and transparency
  • Establish and maintain solid relationship with internal parties as well as parties within the Optum Care Business
  • Drive best-practices and documentation in support of repeatable processes
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience managing or engaging with Business Operations, including resource and financial management, reporting, and cross functional collaboration
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience, including the creation, communication, and execution of project plans

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of Finance, P&L management, and pricing
  • Possesses solid quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with a "can-do" approach to solving problems
  • Experience presenting to and/or facilitating conversations with executive level audience
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects of varying duration (1-12+ months) with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to initiate and own all aspects of multiple projects
  • Solution-focused problem solving
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600.
