How You'll Make a Difference:

Greets and directs visitors, operates multiple line phone system with efficiency in directing incoming calls and performs various clerical tasks.

Greets visitors, determines nature of visits and directs visitors to appropriate persons.

Processes all incoming calls in a pleasant and proficient manner.

Operates overhead and pocket pager paging systems, emergency hotlines and alarm devices.

Provides directions and information to patients, visitors and hospital personnel.

Processes incoming and outgoing mail.

Performs clerical duties such as word processing assignments, copying, filing and creating announcements.

Monitors office supply inventory and requests needed inventory from purchasing. Receives inventory and ensures the proper stocking, placement and security of received items.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Demonstrated ability to operate basic office equipment and the ability to organize multiple tasks.Ability to effectively communicate using the internet (i.e. Lotus Notes or a similar program).Demonstrates a strong attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
