Accountant

Job Summary / Purpose: Candidate will assist in maintaining a complete and systematic set of financial records for the facility, including payroll, accounts payable, and general ledger transactions. Files monthly & annual reports to various agencies and other duties or special projects as assigned.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities
* Assists with maintaining complete and systematic financial records for facility
* Reviews and verifies employee time records and processes bi-weekly payroll
* Enters invoices and prints weekly AP checks
* Prepares deposits of money for all facility accounts
* Records transactions into general ledger
* Contributes to preparation of annual financial audit
* Files monthly and annual reports to various agencies
