If so, Quartz has an opportunity for you!Quartz is adding to our Finance team the position of Finance Reporting Analyst. Responsibilities:
Provide analysis and limited general journal entry preparation to assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close cycles, culminating in the timely and accurate completion of internal and external financial reportsExtract data and perform validation procedures to provide support for capitation and claims payments, regulatory filings, reconciliations, and audit requestsAssist with preparation of financial regulatory filings including Medical Loss Ratio (MLR) filings by line of businessUse Oracle or Excel skills to prepare analysis in conjunction with the development of standard and ad hoc requests, which address significant variances to AOP, important financial statement relationships and underlying trends or issues

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or business-related field 1+ years of relevant experienceProficiency and demonstrated skill with Excel (pivot tables, link workbooks, plug-ins, formulas, etc.)Intermediate knowledge of personal computers and analytical softwareAbility to manage multiple tasks to ensure timely delivery of regulatory filings and other required analysisUnderstanding of simple SQL program is beneficial Excellent oral and written communication skills to be applied with internal staff and external parties; ability to identify proper methods of communication to use for different situations Excellent organizational skillsBilingual candidates encouraged to apply!Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this full-time role will start out working remotely. As things improve with the pandemic, this position will have the option transition, fully or partially, to one of our offices in Madison, WI, Onalaska, WI, or Sauk City, WI office.
