Engineering Project Manager

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Engineering Project Manager

• B.S., Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• 7-15 years of mechanical engineering project management experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of engineering principles, practices, and methods; manufacturing processes; environmental and safety rules and regulations; engineering project management methods; budgeting; and personnel management.
• Coating/Converting or continuous manufacturing experience is desirable
• Project Management certification a plus
• End-to-end ownership for manufacturing technology and infrastructure projects (budgeting, planning, design, installation, commissioning, and validation).
• Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
• May be involved in fabrication, operation, application and/or repair of mechanical products.
• Reviews contractor bids if applicable, interviews and assigns personnel to specific phases or elements of the project.
• Continuous Improvement Mindset
• Ability to sift information from multiple sources, think quickly and make the decision
• Leads and directs the work of others.
• Domestic and international travel 50%
