Our client is currently seeking an experienced Specifications Writer. In this position, you will be working for a reputable Architectural & Engineering firm.
Job Duties:
Review drawings and other project information to write and edit specifications for projects and coordinate compliance with project requirements, office standards, technical conditions, acceptable standards, and codes.
Perform product research; assist project designers with material selection and system research.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors / suppliers.
Provide continual development and improvement of company' s Master Specifications including its specialized content for repeat clients.
Prepare and review the procurement and contracting requirements, including the Division 1 General Requirement sections.
Requirements:
Bachelor' s Degree in Architecture or higher
5-10 years' experience in architectural specification writing
Preferred:
Professional License preferred but not required
Pay Rate:
$31-39/hr (dependent on experience)
