This internship will take place from October 2021 through June 2022.Wage for this internship will be based on educational status and relevant experience. The wage range is $18.00 to $21.00 per hour. This is a non-benefitted position and will report to the Substation Engineering Manager.The individual will assist department personnel in the following:Computer aided drafting and designMeter and relay setting developmentConstruction supportStorage and filing of technical recordsGood oral and written communication skills are essential for success in this role. The physical/mental/environmental demands of this position requires frequent sitting and use of computer/keyboard, occasional standing, walking, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Requires good finger dexterity, ability to perform close work, good hearing and color vision and the ability to speak. Requires the ability to analyze data, conduct research, implement recommendations, develop plans and goals, present information to others and work under pressure of time constraints.
