Community Development Director

Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Council (SMOC) is seeking an individual to oversee the day-to-day administration of all programs in it's Community Development Department.

Job duties include:  Planning, developing and monitoring all budgets under the Community Development Department. Supervise department personnel and ensure job performance standards are met. Analyze and organize program operations and procedures while coordinating activities among staff.

Requirements: College graduate with a degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field. Minimum of three years experience in managerial position is desired. Must have good organization skills along with excellent written and communication skills. Must be a self starter, be able to meet deadlines and be able to interact with a variety of personalities. Work is normally sedentary.
