Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Business Development Professional, with proven success in cultivating relationships with current and prospective clients. At Foth, with our strong emphasis on our clients and teamwork, we refer to this individual as a Client Team Leader. This position will be working out of our Chicago, IL, Milwaukee, WI, or Madison, WI, locations.

This individual will be responsible for leveraging existing relationships and developing new business opportunities in environmental compliance and remediation to result in long term, multi-level client relationships, primarily focused in the Energy Utility markets. As a Client Team Leader, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing specific clients and project opportunities. You will work with a team to identify and filter opportunities, assemble the proposal team, and develop winning proposals.

Primary Responsibilities

* Leverage existing relationships to develop new business opportunities aligned with Foth's targeted market approach
* Develop/implement competitive strategies for acquiring targeted clients and expand the relationship with existing clients at an executive level
* Lead development of proposals/presentations
* Develop and maintain long term client relationships
* Interface with the client to ensure satisfaction with services delivered
* Develop win/win pricing strategies for Foth and our clients
* Successfully transfer client relationships as part of a succession plan
* Deliver an annual profitable portfolio of $1M or more in professional fees
* Provide turn-key or design-build value propositions to Foth clients
* Develop strategies to address client risk, execution concerns, and stakeholder issues
* Work with Foth project management and clients to ensure project success
* Communicate to Foth's project team to facilitate effective delivery of client needs
* Ensure technical reports are completed per client requests
* Conduct regulatory negotiations and client advocacy with external stakeholders
* Own Foth's relationship with the client
* Mentor and coach team members
* Participate in strategic planning, development, deployment, and growth with Foth clients
* Understand and respond to overall market trends, challenges, and client concerns
* Lead, coordinate, and build teamwork among other team members/disciplines at all levels

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Business or similar discipline
* 10+ years of experience in environmental engineering consulting services
* A proven track record developing, retaining and maintaining clients
* Demonstrated success in business development
* Ability to travel domestically 25% or more

Preferred Qualifications

* 15+ years of experience in engineering consulting services within the energy utility industry, either the public or private sector
* Experience working in utility (energy production and transmission) and/or the manufacturing sectors
* Previous experience developing design/build project opportunities
