Top Job Located in Lakeville, MN Salary: $18 - $21 / hourExpress Employment is actively seeking a Bookkeeper for a client of ours in the South Metro. The bookkeeper is responsible for computing, classifying and recording financial transactions to ensure the financial records of the organization are accurate. The bookkeeper also performs routine financial calculations and general ledger duties. The bookkeeper may also check the accuracy of calculations performed by other employees. Responsibilities include:-Lead in processing both A/P and A/R.-Construction project accounting from initial setup, change orders, and project close outdocumentation.-Update data/keep current data in Sage including contracts, change orders,subcontracts, and vendor information.-Construction cost and budget tracking.-Process receivables and bank deposits.-Collect and input tax payer ID information.-Month-end financial close-out.-Year-end financial close-out.-Partner with owner on monthly cashflow reports.-Provide statistical and budget data to marketing manager.-Partner with accounting firm on annual audit. Experience within the construction industry is a PLUS! You must have a minimum of a 2 year accounting degree for this particular position. Experience with Sage and/or QuickBooks accounting software and/or construction project management software is a plus. (e.g. Procore, orsimilar).
