Financial Analyst

Overview

The Financial Analysis will provide a variety of financial duties that aide JRMC with reviewing current financial performance and predicting future performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyses business and financial data.
• Creates financial models bases on analyses to support organizational decision making.
• Analyze month end financial statements for material misstatement.
• Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
• Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation.
• Assists with the preparation of the JRMC Foundation financial statements.
• Assist with the preparation of the annual budget.
• Assist with annual audit preporation.
• Assist and provide back-up for Accounts Payable Clerk and Accountant.
• Prepare various reports and requests for information as required by outside agencies as directed by CFO.
• Complies with hospital Human Relations Standards.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA Certification preferred. Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS). Background check is required.

Two to five years of related experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. Extensive knowledge of all standard accounting operating procedures and principles. Proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, and database software application.
