Position Description & Details:

This position provides support to the Department of Residence Life by maintaining selection and hiring paperwork, assisting with travel accommodations for visiting candidates, and monitoring eligibility for student employment. The position also provides administrative support including coordination of hall programming purchases and billing records. Additionally, this position greets and receives all visitors to the central office and communicates with students and parents via phone and email.

Work Schedule:

Full time, 12 Months, M - F

Academic Year 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Summer - 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Advertised Salary:

$40,000+/year

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 yrs experience in an office environment
• Effective communication skills to interact with a variety of customers
• Strong customer service skills and experiences
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated high level of professionalism
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years work experience in an office environment
• Experience working in a higher education environment
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
