Waterford, an Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care community nestled in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota is looking for an experienced Executive Director. As the Executive Director you would be responsible for managing the overall operations of the Community, which includes providing an appropriate environment for both residents and employees; establishing and maintaining family relations; meeting financial expectations; adhering to corporate policy and procedures; and upholding the corporate mission, vision and values. Essential Job Functions ?? Actively participate in and provides leadership for the Community and its staff. ?? Supervise directly/indirectly all staff in the Community. ?? Implement programs and services for residents that are developed in tandem with Regional and Corporate staff members. ?? Ensure Community is in compliance with regulatory standards. ?? Direct the management team to ensure the success of the Community including:
  • o Working with residents, family and responsible parties to achieve a high level of satisfaction.
  • o Maintaining a positive relationship with the professional community.
  • o Facilitating open communication with staff and peers.
  • o Maintaining confidentiality of employee and resident records as appropriate.
o Accountable for all areas of operations meeting all financial and budgetary objectives. ?? Participate and be accountable for oversight of all marketing and sales activities and results. ?? Operate the Community in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures and ensure the safety and security of residents and staff. ?? Ensure the Business Office Manager completes all required elements of Workers Compensation Program in a timely manner. ?? Responsible for the implementation of OSHA and Safety guidelines. ?? Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility. ?? Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities ?? The ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language ?? Experience and knowledge dealing with the senior population ?? Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to communicate both ?? verbally and in writing ?? Ability to understand and administer the financial reporting and requirements of the Community. ?? Capable of knowing and understanding the dynamics of the competitive marketplace ?? High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products Education and/or Equivalent Experience ?? Bachelors degree ?? Two or more years of experience as an Executive Director in health care. ?? Assisted Living Director Licensure (LALD) and/or Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) required Special Requirements ?? Meets all applicable state licensure and health requirements ?? Ability to be on-call and respond to residents' needs on a 24-hour basis ?? Must possess current and valid driver's license consistent with the requirements determined by size of vehicle and laws of the state in which the driver is licensed. ?? Must possess personal driving record consistent with the requirements of the Community's Safety Policy.
