As a Regulatory Affairs Consultant, you will be part of a team of regulatory/compliance professionals who strategically support and engage stakeholders to implement business changes to ensure compliance with new requirements.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within United States as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with various internal departments and committees to assure operational and procedural compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Oversee data collection, analysis and presentation for compliance-related reports required (such as reports to support license filings, appeals & complaints reporting, accreditation audit reports, customer audits etc.)
  • Triage escalated complex compliance issues
  • Collaborate with operations to review, analyze, and develop/oversee initial implementation project plans and/or corrective action plans to ensure compliance with new or existing laws and regulations and company, customer, and accreditation requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience working in a regulatory role within health care, managed care and/or health insurance
  • 3+ years of project management experience, including experience simultaneously managing multiple projects with varying complexity
  • Experience building relationships across business groups internally and outside the organization (regulatory agencies)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with state, HIPPA and other federal privacy laws
  • 2+ years of experience working with Federal or State Programs

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
