Accounting Clerk - AP/AR

Top Job Located in Duluth, MN Salary: $14-$16/hr + benefitsExpress Employment Professionals is hiring an AP/AR Accounting Clerk for a business in Duluth, MN. This is a core position at an established company looking for someone who can work begin working 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. (20-30 hours a week) with the potential to increase to 40 hours, Monday - Friday. Starting pay is $14-$16/hr plus benefits once hired on. The Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk will assist the Sales Manager in reviewing and processing packets from customer purchase orders. They will also assist the Office Manager with weekly billing for 2-million-dollar company (A/R), bi-weekly A/P and ordering supplies for shop and office. ADDITIONAL DUTIES Pull quote & copy of print to process new POs into system Review and finalize Acknowledgement packets and verify print revisions Update internal records to reflect new POs and customer requirements Stock necessary forms for office use Organize and update quote history files and pull for RFQs as needed Code invoices for data entry to G/L, match packing slips Make contracts regarding outstanding orders Create batch and record A/R deposits into accounting system Audit and process credit card statements QUALIFICATIONS Must have 2-3 years of experience with AP or general accounting Office Excel spreadsheet knowledge is preferred Reliable with strong time management and organizational skills Ability to work well independently Attention to detail Good communication skills: written and verbal Ability to type 40+ wpm Proficient use of 10-key adding machine Apply now at or send your resume to today.
