Optician -

Position description

The optician will provide proper fitting eyewear, assist patients in frame and lens selection, order and verify eyeglasses, also perform adjustments and repairs. The Optician will stay up-to-date on any new innovations in frames and lenses through continuing education.
Qualifications
Formal training which will probably be indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from accredited ophthalmic dispensing program or three years in the optical field

Working knowledge of computer

Additional qualifications
Preferred: Working knowledge of computer.

Preferred: Trained in CPR and Basic Life Support, Healthcare Provider level.
