Optum Behavioral Solutions products and capabilities are focused on behavioral health care delivery and integration with primary care. The Finance Manager is responsible for the consolidation of budgets, forecasts and month-end results across multiple behavioral health products and business lines. Responsibilities include complex financial modeling, profitability reporting, analysis of financial and operational metrics to evaluate business performance, and effective communication of findings to senior leadership. This role will perform financial planning for M&A prospects and provider partnerships. Ability to work in a matrix environment while influencing other functional areas to positively impact financial results.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Consolidates financial forecasts across multiple lines of business
• Monthly results reporting and variance analysis
• Develops and refines financial models to allocate SG&A costs across products and markets for underwriting cost builds and profitability reporting
• Partners with business leaders to evaluate investment opportunities and cost savings initiatives to drive financial growth
• Presents complex financial data and makes recommendations to senior leadership
• Manages and is accountable for employees

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant financial planning and analysis experience
• Progressive financial work experience
• Intermediate skills in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup) and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft applications
• Healthcare industry experience
• Supervisory experience
