YOUR ROLE

  • Is responsible for documentation of customer enquires and department correspondence
  • Provides administrative support to a team
  • Drafts standardized documents of low complexity
  • Provides services at meetings
  • Organizes and oversees documentations so that they are easily accessed and retrieved
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in maintaining and oversight of the maintenance OPRA Workflow systems
  • Enter and set up new inventory information into the OPRA systems
  • De-activate obsolete equipment and preventive maintenance tasks from the OPRA system as required
  • Maintain the preventive maintenance systems, updating or changing the task instructions as directed.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in generating preventive maintenance tasks weekly, verify proper generation, set up for issue to technicians.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in monitoring and oversight of the calibration/verification program
  • Work with maintenance employees on any issues they are having related to the OPRA systems
  • Work with corporate maintenance team to resolve any issues within the CMMS systems
  • Assist maintenance manager with any issues
  • Place part orders
  • Monthly reconcile company credit card.
  • Assist in scheduling contractors for repairs, generating purchase orders, creating work orders and document all required information in the OPRA system
  • Monitor waste storage areas and correct any deficiencies.
  • Participate in all audits, provide all required information as requested
  • Maintain maintenance department SDS system
  • Must understand and follow all initiatives and processes for OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 regulations, procedures and processes as they pertain to job responsibilities.
  • Assist company personnel with any maintenance related matters
  • Other duties as assigned


YOUR SKILLS

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office: word and excel programs
  • Familiarity with software systems such as SAP & Louts Notes
  • Communicates effectively with applicable departments.
  • Written communication may include tie-in logs e-mail, and other required company documents
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups and customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to operate specific equipment or tools and rotate through all lines in this job classification
  • Following all safety rules
  • Communicating with direct supervisor and/or safety coordinator/team regarding potential injury exposures or ideas for reducing injury exposures.
  • Understanding that they have a responsibility to act safely.
  • Report injury symptoms early to prevent them from becoming more severe.
  • Understand when and how to use personal protective equipment and follow use guidelines.
  • Participate in facility safety teams (5-S, JSA, Audits, Ergonomics, Investigation, etc.)
