The Wealth and Investment Management Platform team provides support for Wealth and Investment Management line of business applications. This includes Payables and Receivables, Commercial Card, Account Reconciliation and Disbursements, Lockbox, Information Reporting, and Pricing Tools, as well as, Enterprise payment applications, including ACH, Wires, and Secure Transmission applications. The team is accountable for the availability, stability, resiliency and operational health of all platforms aligned with TMPS. The team will partner with all teams in Wells Fargo including those in business operations to ensure all our customer transactions and associated technologies are monitored for operational health, performance, capacity and availability. The team will also play a key role in enabling and driving forward the agile acceleration and DevOps changes currently underway. Team members within this function will ensure availability is paramount, including our critical obligation of protecting our customer's information. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Services Wealth Investment Management Technology Team. This Senior Software Engineer will focus on creating and expanding capabilities to drive DevOps adoption and improve engineering team productivity with the focus on Engineering Quality, Shift Left and test automation pipeline. This role include partnering with the Wealth & Investment Management Technology teams to support a highly complex integrated platform by providing DevOps capabilities and adoption of new and enhanced automated processes and tools. We are looking for a Shift-left & Automation Lead to join us in defining and implementing our technology transformation. Key Responsibilities Include: Apply technology background in software engineering, Testing tools, DevOps, CI/CD and Continuous Testing to deliver and introduce new technology capabilities. Quality automation with a shift left approach. Leading, coaching, training and partnering with AppDev teams to implement engineering quality best practices. Development of standards and best practices including: CI/CD, Quality Gates, Controlled Deployment, Unit testing, TDD and BDD. Working in a SWAT team engagement with AppDev teams to to define test strategy that drives improved quality and efficiency. Define and build necessary training required for shift-left adoption including approach, tools, automation frameworks. Support DevOps accelerator functions across WIMT for both creating Capabilities (Tooling, Frameworks, Training) and driving adoption strategy and priority. Required Qualifications 7 years of software engineering experience 2 years of Java experience 5 years of .Net or Java experience or a combination of both 2 years of experience testing using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD) 2 years of experience in Automation and Continuous Integration-Continuous Development (CI-CD) of Full Circle applications 5 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: script automation, Unified Functional Testing (UFT), VBScript, Selenium or C# Desired Qualifications An industry-standard technology certification Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 2 years of experience with cloud technologies Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban Other Desired Qualifications Proven experience defining shift-left strategy for large scale program, working hands on to build POCs and driving adoption at scale. In depth, hand on understanding of different shift-left methodologies TDD/BDD and also defining test strategy from Unit, integration, endtoend and UAT Coaching and leading experience Proven delivery of shift-left strategy with measurable productivity and quality outcomes. Experience with one or more Testing Frameworks: Selenium, Cucumber, Appium Solid DevOps adoption and transformation background both in creating capabilities, driving large scale adoption and measuring results.
