The Brokerage Investment Operations Group is seeking top performing, results oriented applicants to apply for our Securities Operations Service Specialist 4 (SOSS 4) role. The SOSS 4 role will provide service and processing support for the Corporate Actions Dividend and Income Group located in either St. Louis, MO or Minneapolis, MN.

The SOSS 4 within Brokerage Investment Operations is a team member with proven brokerage operations and/or financial services experience. The SOSS 4 performs a variety of operational tasks for complex securities or cash related transactions or processes that require extensive knowledge of unit functions and systems. A successful SOSS 4 is viewed as a role model for junior level staff, providing mentoring and guidance as needed.

Additional duties may include but are not limited to:

??? Differentiating, processing and reconciling complicated transactions
??? Researching complex inquires
??? Resolving customer complaints
??? Coordinate situations involving multiple departments
??? Reviewing time sensitive and/or complex documents
??? Creating or revising departmental procedures
??? Providing department level reporting using multiple sources
??? May provide training or work direction to junior level staff
??? Identifying potential areas of risk and making recommendations for resolution
??? Developing and/or presenting reports to management as requested
??? Leading and/or assisting in departmental projects
??? Working independently under minimal supervision
??? Provides back-up for other team members as needed
??? Managing a pipeline of work from start to completion
??? Meeting quality and production standards of work

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, operations, financial services, accounting, business processing, analytical, financial, clerical, or call center demonstrated through work or military experience
  • 1+ year of banking or financial operations experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of corporate action processing
  • Ability to write concisely and clearly
  • Risk and regulatory compliance experience
  • Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data
  • Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization
  • Beta experience
  • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills



Other Desired Qualifications

Experience leveraging Depository Trust Company (DTC), SmartStation, InfoMax, or similar applications
Knowledge and understanding of T Accounting (debits/credits) and/or mathematics proficiency
Intermediate MS Excel experience including the ability to utilize formulas and manipulate data
Proven track record of problem solving and process improvement

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

MO-Saint Louis: Min: $41,800 Mid: $58,000 Max: $74,200
MN-Minneapolis: Min: $41,800 Mid: $58,000 Max: $74,200
