As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance of processing and packaging equipment and providing technical support to improve and optimize within the manufacturing operations and processes. Pay Rate: $31.18 per hour up to $34.85 per hour (based on journeyman status) Schedule: 8-hour shift 1st shift: 6:30 am to 2:30 pm 2nd shift: 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm 3rd shift: 10:30 pm to 6:30 am Currently hiring for 2nd shift or 3rd shift, based on business need Scheduled rotational weekends off Ability and willingness to work 4 hours overtime prior to or at end of shift, if needed Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays Plant operation is 24 hours per day, 7 days per week Your seat at the table will include: (Duties and Responsibilities) Following all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment Inspecting equipment, structures, parts or materials to identify breakage, excessive wear, or the cause of errors, problems or defects. Inspecting to determine adjustments or repairs needed Observing and testing in order to diagnose malfunctions in machines. Analyzing test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to determine required solution Installing, maintaining, repairing and replacing industrial processing and packaging machinery, work tools and equipment Installing, maintaining, repairing and replacing electrical systems, including conduits, tubing, fixtures or components. Installing or replacing electronic equipment, components, systems, power, communication, control, or security equipment or systems Reading and understanding blueprints, schematics, specifications, technical drawings, work orders, processing charts and manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery Performing welding and fabrication activities Entering codes and instructions to program and set-up computer-controlled machinery. Basic repair of PLC's. Adjusting measuring or control devices Repairing and maintaining building utilities, including assembly and installation of pipe sections, fittings, or plumbing fixtures. Installation of water or sewer treatment plant equipment by performing hydraulic plumbing. Basic control of HVAC equipment Performing, identifying and suggesting changes to the PM Work Order Program Assisting vendors and Engineering in the implementation of new equipment and/or restructuring or retooling projects Partnering with operators to identify problems. Demonstrating equipment functions and features to machine operators Using Maximo to enter all work with appropriate details (parts, labor, resources, work description) Performing safety inspections Advising changes needed in maintenance schedule to Team Leader Leading with and championing human and food safety Your recipe for success must include: (Minimum Qualifications) Must be 18 years of age or older Must have the ongoing right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship High School Diploma or GED 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent education in a related field Basic knowledge of how to operate HVAC systems and troubleshoot and program programmable logic controls (PLCs) is also required Working knowledge of PLCs, HVAC systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Proficiency in basic computer skills Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation Must be able to lift, move, push, pull 50 lbs as required by the position Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms Willing and able to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends, daily overtime or overtime outside of your regular scheduled hours as required (more than 40 hours per week) Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery Preferred Qualifications: Technical degree in industrial maintenance or related field Machinist and/or metal fabrication experience Continuing education in maintenance/technical skills Computer Maintenance Management System experience Demonstrated leadership ability Reasons you will LOVE working here: Benefits starting on Day 1 (Medical, Dental, Vision) Vacation (120 hours) 401k plan and Roth 401k (with a match and automatic company contribution) Sick and Emergency Time Off Mental Health and Well Being Programs Bi-Annual Bonus Allotment Parental Bonding Leave Caregiver Leave Learning and Development On-site Fitness Center Employee Engagement Events What's Next Due to our automated system and software, please use an active email address when creating your login profile and screen your spam and junk mail, as our emails tend to be placed in those mailboxes.
