YOUR ROLE

  • Executes engineering processes ensuring that quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost
  • Liaises with other stakeholders in order to provide professional support and advice
  • Strives for improvements and efficiencies in Engineering area
  • Monitors KPIs for engineering processes
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technical development and trends in the field of expertise
  • Responsible for the plan to perform predictive, preventive, and unscheduled maintenance to all process and non-process equipment, facility, and grounds.
  • Coordinates the activities of all maintenance personnel on a daily basis using work orders generated through a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Participates in the generation and review of equipment strategies and maintains the SAP CMMS system to reflect changes.
  • Tracks and maintains maintenance KPI's for the site
  • Plans and schedules all preventive and predictive maintenance activities and keeps documentation per the site's recordkeeping policy.
  • Maintains equipment records, manuals and drawings so that they are easily accessible to department personnel.
  • Assists with annual insurance, boiler, backflow prevention device, alarm system, fire suppression system, and other inspections.
  • Performs machinery failure troubleshooting, prepares failure reports , performs root cause analysis and develops plans to avert future failures
  • Prepares scopes of work, cost estimates, and timelines for small to medium capital projects and manages projects from conception through completion.


YOUR SKILLS

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of study from a four year college or university with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing / industrial maintenance or related field is required.
  • A strong background in condition-based monitoring, maintenance planning and root cause failure analysis is preferred.
  • Has knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: lubrication reliability, ultrasound inspections, steam system operation and reliability, precision machine alignment, thermography, vibration, AC and DC motor testing.
  • Certification in one or more of mentioned technologies is a strong plus. CMRP or CRL certification desired
  • Candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, negotiating, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Candidate must have a strong sense of initiative and a strong sense of customer service.
  • Must be willing to frequently and/or regularly work hands-on with direct reports in order to learn processes and build relationships.
  • Must be available by phone after work hours in cases of emergency.
  • Additionally, candidates must possess excellent computer skills with specific experience using maintenance management systems, common office software
