We are looking to add a certified DE + LAPP/SAR Government Underwriter to our team in a virtual capacity. We opened our doors in 1996 and since then have expanded to multiple states but are looking to add a Rockstar employee who resides in either TX, OK or AR. The role is 100% remote but this team of Underwriters all live within these states so we want to keep the hub together. We value our employees and stress the importance of a good work-life-balance. What You Will Be Doing
As a Government Underwriter, you will be using your DE and LAPP/SAR certifications to underwrite Government (FHA and VA) loans along with misc. Conventional, USDA and sometimes Jumbo loan types. You will be responsible for overseeing your own pipeline and ensuring you are closing out 75% of loans every month in a professional and quickly manner. You will need to have strong analytical and organization skills to ensure your pipeline is clean and accurate at all times in the event of an audit. You will also need to work independently and be a valued asset to the team when needed.

- Encompass (or a similar LOS software)
- Direct Endorsement certified (ACTIVE)
- LAPP SAR Certified (ACTIVE)
- General Underwriting
- Live in either OK, TX or AR
- Salary $110K-$120K
- Unlimited Overtime
