As a Commercialization Manager you will focus on launching recently approved energy resiliency offering in the growing energy storage, cogeneration and microgrid markets. Launching them to be truly revenue generating assets for our Commercial & Industrial customers that add new revenue streams for Xcel Energy. Responsible for creating a Pathway to profitability for new products and solutions.

Essential Responsibilities

Create and execute complete launch plans, marketing messaging and collateral as well as establishing all operational and support requirements for the launch
Develop processes to manage the product pipeline and ensure product success
Assess the financial & customer value and potential of the products and how they fit with customer needs and provide assessments to department leadership on readiness for launch
Work with Product developers, Product managers, partners and sales channels to guide products to success
Work closely with clients, partners and internal teams to outline product scope, objective and value
Assess how well products are working in market, make investment decisions and provide feedback to product development and product management teams
Identify new growth opportunities and promote opportunities to stakeholders
Apply an agile methodology to the day to day work; conduct experiments within their portfolio, test products for viability and adapt product plans quickly

Minimum Requirements

Skilled at creating and maintaining detailed financial analytics and reports.
Ability to create a product vision, champion that vision and execute to meet business needs.
Strong understanding of general business functions; Sales, Product Development, Product Management, Commercialization and Marketing.
Proven track record in generating revenue from new, struggling or existing products.
8+ years experience in marketing, product management or product development is required.
College degree required, or equivalent years of education and experience.
MBA strongly preferred.
